I didn’t have much luck doing it for controllers, but the controller support is currently quite poor in the game. You can’t move through menus using the d-pad, and it’s quite annoying. I’m confident that this will improve during the course of the early access period.

For now, though, I recommend playing RuneScape: Dragonwilds with keyboard and mouse over a controller.
