How to Create Your Disney Dreamlight Valley Avatar Early

To dive into the character creation process before September 6, you’ll need to be on PC – unfortunately, you cannot do it on consoles, only through Steam, Epic Games Store, and the Microsoft Store. Use your desired platform’s search function and look up “Disney Dreamlight Valley – Avatar Designer Tool” and download it. For us, it was around 1.8GB via Steam so it’s assumingly the same if you’re downloading it somewhere else.

There’s also the “Touch of Magic” feature that allows you to customize your own clothes with a series of stickers and decals for your own unique look. We added some stars and a moon to a jacket – it was easy and looks cute to boot.

Once you’ve done creating, you’ll be prompted to input your name and take a photo with a Disney character if you’d like. You can then share your photo with friends using a QR code. Have fun!
