Pokemon Sword and Shield Ditto Location Guide

by Nicholas Barth

There is a variety of Pokemon that players can battle and catch in the new worlds of Sword and Shield. One of these characters is the master imposter Ditto, who as we all know, can transform into other beings. Ditto has become one of the most valuable creatures in the high-profile franchise thanks to its ability to breed with any other creature to produce eggs. This ability means Ditto is seen as the most valuable creature when it comes to breeding. Fortunately, we have the location of this particular character in the newest titles covered for you.

Trainers can find the location of the shapeshifting creature at the Lake of Outrage in the Wild Area of the Galar Region. This location where you will find the imposter character is south of the Galar Region’s Hammerlocke city. Unfortunately, there is no guaranteed way to make Ditto appear in the Lake of Outrage location. You will have to make your way around and hope the RNG gods bless you with an appearance of it in this area.

This is one of the rarest creatures you will find, so a dedicated amount of looking for it will not go unrewarded, especially when it comes to breeding in the new games.

Do you want to learn more about Pokemon Sword and Shield besides the location of Ditto? If so, be sure to check out our dedicated hub for the popular titles or our three most recent pieces of coverage below:
