How to Make Bandages

Thankfully, making bandages on your own isn’t very hard, and like the original DayZ game, Mini DayZ allows you to make use of various clothing items to create your own makeshift bandages. They aren’t nearly as good as regular bandages found throughout the world, but they’ll stop the blood that’s flowing out of your cuts, and help you get back to tip top shape.

As we mentioned above, actually making your own bandages is very easy. All you’ll need to do is find an item that can be torn into pieces, things like t-shirts work well, and then open up your inventory.

With your inventory open, locate the item that you want to tear up, and then tap on it. This will bring up a little interaction menu. You can then select the option to “tear into rags”. This will cause the item to be torn up into rags, which you can then use as bandages.

Like we said above, rags aren’t going to help you out as much as bandages will, but they will stop the bleeding and return a small amount of your health, which makes them very useful to players looking to survive for long periods of time. We’d suggest picking up and tearing any items you find into rags, especially if you don’t plan on using them. Unfortunately, not every clothing item can be torn into rags, so you’ll have to be choosy.

If you keep this information in mind, and you do your best to hold on to some rags in your inventory for when you need them, then you shouldn’t have too hard of a time surviving for a several days in the game.
