Minecraft Mob Names That Start With Letter N

Minecraft Trivia Quiz Cheat Sheet

Minecraft is truly one of those video games that will stick with the gamer community for decades to come. Hopefully, updates and content expansions will follow consistently, and we’ll see new mobs in Minecraft regularly. In this article, we cover all Minecraft mob names that start with the letter N.

List of All Mob Names in Minecraft That Start with N

In vanilla Minecraft, there are no mobs that have N as their starting letter at this moment. As soon as this changes, we’ll make sure to update this article with new information. However, some mobs fit with this article’s theme but in another way (or another Minecraft game), so let’s see what’s up. This might come in handy if you’re participating in a Minecraft trivia quiz! And, who knows, maybe a new Mob Vote will expand this list?

Necromancer

Necromancer is the only mob in Minecraft Dungeons that has a name that starts with the letter N.

Minecraft Dungeons didn’t really take off much (sadly), with just hundreds of people playing it right now on Steam, and this is why you probably haven’t heard of Necromancer before.

It summons skeletons and zombies to go after you, and it can also launch fireballs your way. You will spot the Necromancer in the Desert and Lower Temple.

NPC

NPC stands for Non-Player Character, and of course, they exist in most video games. However, NPC is a mob that only appears in Minecraft Education and Minecraft Bedrock Edition. They are kind of hidden (they do not appear naturally in the game), but you need to spawn them yourself with a “/summon NPC” command. There’s nothing you can do with them, basically, but they do exist in the Minecraft universe.

Nerd Creeper

April Fool’s jokes are (sadly) not that common in video games anymore. Nerd Creeper made its appearance in the 3D Shareware version of Minecraft in 2019 called “Minecraft 3D” and it’s full of pop culture and gaming references. They were spawned with a cheat code “NEEEERD” (probably a reference to Homer Simpson yelling), and they behaved mostly like the regular Creeper, but they had a nerd outfit.
