Like every other first-party game that’s release for Nintendo’s consoles over the past couple of years, Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle not only supports amiibo, but it also comes with some of its very own unique amiibo. In this article we’ll break down how to activate your amiibo in Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle, as well as go over some of the things you should know when trying to use amiibo in the game.
How to Activate Amiibo
First off, in order to activate amiibo you’re going to need to clear the game’s first world, World 1: Ancient Gardens. Once this is done, head back to Peach’s castle and look for the amiibo R&D building. Here you’ll be given the option to scan your amiibo and earn yourself some pretty sweet goodies that you can put to use to help your team of the Mushroom Kingdom’s best and brightest.
What Amiibo Can I Use?
While many Nintendo games support the use of multiple different types of amiibo, players who want to use amiibo in Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle will find that their selection of goodies is limited to a total of four different amiibo, all of which are based around the Mario series. We’ve broken down the details of these amiibo below, so take a look.
Players can head to the amiibo R&D center and activate the Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, and Peach amiibo to earn exclusive weapons that they can equip inside the game. For their troubles, players will earn two weapons per amiibo, one for the original character, as well as one of the Rabbid variant.
The types of weapons you can earn from these amiibo include things like Mario’s Flame Job weapon, as well as the Bone Shaker for Rabbid Mario. You’ll also be able to grab Luigi’s Phosphorus and Rabbid Luigi’s Burning Question by tapping in the Luigi amiibo. If you want to earn some weapons for Peach or Yoshi, then definitely be sure to tap them in at the amiibo R&D building near Peach’s castle.
Now that you know how to use amiibo, and what each amiibo will give you, it’s time to get back to stopping those pesky Rabbids from overrunning the Mushroom Kingdom.
