Is There a New Eeveelution in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet? – Answered

At the time of writing this, there is no new Eeveelution currently announced for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. While many fans believed one would be announced, it seems that our little friend Eevee will not be receiving a new form. Of course, Tera Types are now a concept in the Pokemon world that can change the typing of any Pokemon. So if you want that Poison or Dragon Eevee, you can live out your dreams.

These aren’t evolutions, but you can at least pretend they are. We haven’t seen a new Eeveelution since Pokemon X/Y when the Fairy-type Sylveon was revealed to the world. It’s been nearly 10 years since the last new evolution. You would think for a Pokemon of such popularity, The Pokemon Company would have designed some new version by now, but this does not seem to be the case.

There are so many different types that Eevee can still evolve into. We’ve yet to see a Rock, Ground, Dragon, Poison, or Steel Eevee. Since Pokemon Scarlet and Violet lean heavily into this past/future dynamic, it would be cool to see two different Eeveelutions to accommodate the theme. A sick future steel Eevee and a pre-historic rock Eevee could make for some unique designs.

However, your answer is that there is no new Eeveelution in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Of course, if this answer changes, we will update the article accordingly, so keep your eyes peeled. If you haven’t seen it yet, check out the new Paldean Wooper form.
