How to Write a Best-Selling Book in BitLife
Before you can start writing best-selling books in BitLife, let’s take a few steps back and learn how to write books in the first place. After all, while reading books is available early on, writing them is surprisingly challenging!
To begin writing your first book, you’ll first have to become famous. How you do this is entirely up to you, but a few examples include becoming an author, actor, musician, or social media influencer. You’ll want to select an Author for this particular life.
Once your character is famous, enter the Activities menu to find a new “Fame” category. Here, you’ll see options to write a book, star in commercials, and go on talk shows. Since we’re focused on writing a bestseller, you’ll want to select Book to find a pop-up menu detailing the cost and your title options. If you see “You are unable to find a publisher” instead, age up and check again until it works!
From here, you’ll mainly have to rely on luck to create a bestseller. You are not guaranteed to make one on your first or second go, and it may even be a flop if you’re unlucky. From this point onward, you mainly have to write a book, see the results, and then rinse and repeat every few years until you write your first best-selling book. If you’re lucky, you may even get multiple in a row!
Why Should You Be An Author in BitLife?
No matter if you just love the idea of writing for a living, or you want to complete some of the more difficult challenges like the Pushing Roses Challenge, you’ll need to have the skills of a linguist to make it happen. In the aforementioned challenge, you’ll need to write a Memoir after leaving Prison — taking a little bit of inspiration from The Juice, I see. You’ll need this special skill to make that happen, so be prepared for anything and work on becoming as famous as possible to get your budding career as an author off the ground.
