Genshin Impact Purification Spring Domain

How to Unlock the Purification Spring Domain in Genshin Impact

Hard to reach, quick to finish

The Purification Spring was introduced in Genshin Impact 3.6 during the final Sumeru expansion, where two brand-new zones were introduced to the northern area of its desert. The domain is located in the Realm of Farakhkert next to a big oasis, and it’s another one of those one-time domains that give you some decent rewards when completing them for the first time. After that, they’re promoted to extra Waypoints for the remainder of the game. But since extra treasures are never a bad thing, here’s how to unlock this extra domain in Genshin Impact.

Where to Find the Purification Spring Domain in Genshin Impact

The domain is found north of the Statue of the Seven. It’s not required to acquire Sorush from the area’s main quests, but it makes some of the climbing easier. But you can reach the domain without it if you have some extra patience.

Head northeast from the Statue following the Waypoint next to a walkway to reach the heights where the domain is located. Now just keep following west to reach the Waypoint next to the domain. Having Sorush here makes crossing the broken bridge way easier, but you can climb your way through it with no problems. Easier to do with characters like Kazuha, Xiao, Alhaitham, or any other with mobility skills.

After reaching the Waypoint, take a few more steps into the north (next to the Hills of Barsom) and follow the domain icon on the minimap until you finally see it. You know you’re in the right direction if you see the big tree next to your way. There’s no puzzle required to unlock the domain, so interact with it and it’s done!

The domain houses only two enemies: Two of the new Consacrated Beasts, which you can easily best in battle with a well-rounded team. The final reward is 40 Primogems, a 5-star Artifact piece and an extra Chest containing 10 more Primogems and lots of Sumeru-related loot. And of course, an easy teleport to this hard-to-reach area.
