Warships are giant circular spaceships that have landed in the Saleria Sector, the purple area on the war table alongside the yellow Terminid and red Automaton sections. The Warships house the Illuminate faction and can be found on maps in the region within the giant red circles.

The Warships act as the spawning point to the Illuminate, which are the same for the Terminid hives and Automaton fabricators. Unless it is the main objective of the mission, destroying these Warships is optional. Clearing out the areas will help thin out the enemies’ numbers on the map and usually contain samples and ammo to resupply.

Helldivers 2 players can destroy Warships by taking out its blue shield and throwing a grenade through its doorway. Warships are protected by a blue energy shield that can be temporarily disabled by shooting the ship with bullets.

The constant small-arms fire will stop the shield, allowing players to throw a grenade or other explosive through the glowing dock door. One explosive through the door is all it takes to completely destroy the Warship.

The Warship can also be taken out by calling in an Eagle 500kg Bomb or comparable explosive Stratagem. The bomb is strong enough to bypass the shield, so shooting the ship is unnecessary. Make sure to call the Eagle 500kg Bomb directly on the ship to destroy it.
