Ranked mode in FragPunk can be unlocked by reaching account level 30. There are no other prerequisites except to play enough of the game to achieve level 30 on your account. This can be done by playing the Standard and Outbreak modes, or the modes available in the Battle Rotation and Arcade Rotation playlists.

The Ranked Shard Clash mode has most of the same rules as the Standard mode, but there are a few key differences. First, each Ranked match consists of 11 rounds with the first team to take six rounds winning the match. A series of 1v1 duels will occur if both teams win five rounds each.

A player’s rank is determined by both the individual performance and the outcome of the match. Doing better will rank you up faster. There are seven main ranks to climb: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Master, and Punkmaster.

The Advanced Ranked mode can be unlocked by reaching Diamond rank in the regular Ranked mode. This is essentially the second division for Ranked with only Diamond, Master, and Punkmaster ranks being able to participate. The lower ranks will still play the regular Ranked mode.

The Advanced Ranked Star Clash mode adds a few more rules to the regular Ranked mode with each team picking a Card Captain, who will ban one Shard Card from the deck of eight. Then both teams will each pick three of the available cards left. So, it is best to talk with your team about which cards will help your team the most.
