The Winters’ Expansion has brought three new playable characters and two new stages to Resident Evil Village’s The Mercenaries mode. These new stages include “The Bloody Village” and “The Bloody River,” while the new characters include Chris Redfield, Karl Heisenberg, and the fan favorite, Alcina Dimitrescu. However, Alcina Dimitrescu is not immediately unlocked in the game’s challenge mode, as the privilege to play as the nine-and-a-half-foot-tall vampire lady antagonist of Resident Evil Village requires gamers to meet certain ranks in the new The Mercenaries DLC stages. However, this guide will demonstrate how to unlock Lady Dimitrescu, allowing you to start slicing your enemies into ribbons in no time.
The Mercenaries Rank Requirements to Unlock Alcina Dimitrescu
In order to unlock Alcina Dimitrescu as a character in The Mercenaries Additional Orders, players must achieve an “S” Rank or above in The Bloody River, the second stage of The Winters’ Expansion. Thankfully, Lady Dimitrescu can be unlocked by achieving an “S” Rank on the normal difficulty of The Bloody River, as achieving an “S” Rank in The Bloody River II hard stage is a much more difficult feat. The Bloody River can only be accessed after achieving an “A” Rank or higher on The Bloody Village stage, and that stage can only be unlocked by achieving an “A” Rank or higher in the four base game stages of The Mercenaries. In order to achieve these high ranks in The Mercenaries, players must be knowledgeable about the various maps, understand what equipment to use for their loadouts, maintain long combos, and finish the stages as quickly as possible.

Once you have achieved an S Rank or higher in The Bloody River Stage of The Mercenaries Additional Orders, with either Ethan Winters, Chris Redfield, or Karl Heisenberg, Alcina Dimitrescu will be added to the roster of playable characters for all of The Mercenaries maps that you have previously unlocked.
