How to Unlock All Characters in Vampire Survivors Emerald Diorama

Vampire Survivors received a free DLC pack called Emerald Diorama, which is based on the science fiction RPG franchise SaGa by Square Enix. The crossover adds another 16 playable characters to the game, and here is how to unlock them all.

How to Get All New Characters in Vampire Survivors Emerald Diorama

There are a total of 16 characters to unlock through the DLC alone with 12 known and four secret. All of the new characters can be earned in the Emerald Diorama stage once you unlock it.

Some of the characters have alternative skins that give different weapons, and it’s noted as such. The biggest outlier of the group is Diva No. 5, who has six forms with different stats and weapons for each one. Each of the forms needs to be earned in its own special way. Here are all of the 16 characters in the DLC in a somewhat relative order of unlocking:

• Tsunanori Mido: Find and open the first coffin in Emerald Diorama.
• Siugnas: Find and open the second coffin in Emerald Diorama.
• Bonnie Blair: Fully evolve the Splashers, the alternative starting weapon for Tsunanori Mido, with Spellbinder passive.
• Formina Franklyn: Fully evolve Kick, the alternative starting weapon for Bonnie Blair, with Pummarola passive.
• Diva No. 5 (Retro Pod): Fully evolve Eagle Gun, Formina Franklyn’s alternative starting weapon, with Spinach passive.
  • Virginia body type: Fully evolve Super Missile.
  • Shanks body type: Defeat all bosses in Emerald Diorama in a single run with Diva No. 5.
  • Paradox body type: Defeat all bosses in Inverse Emerald Diorama in a single run with Diva No. 5.
  • Mover body type: Glimmer at least seven techs with Diva No. 5 Retro Pod. Glimmering techs means using the new DLC weapons until it zooms in with a special attack during gameplay.
  • Battle Tank body type: Glimmer at least 11 techs with Diva No. 5 Virginia.
• Ameya Aisling: Fully evolve Twin Dragons, Diva No. 5 Virginia’s starting weapon, with Karoma’s Mana passive.
• Kugutsu: Defeat the Divine Wood Spirit in Inverse Emerald Diorama, Miyako City.
• Lita Caryx: Defeat the Earth Dragon in Inverse Emerald Diorama, Pulchra with Tsunanori Mido.
• Macha Alter Ego: Defeat the Iron Maiden in Inverse Emerald Diorama, Avalon with Ameya Aisling.
• Final Emperor: Defeat the Final Emperor’s demon form in Inverse Emerald Diorama, Grelon with Bonnie Blair or Formina Franklyn.
• Dolores: Defeat the Specter of Iwanaga-hime in Inverse Emerald Diorama, Yomi with Siugnas.
• Mr. S: Defeat Living Anguish in Inverse Emerald Diorama with Dive No. 5.
• Lolo, Hiss, Meow, and Purr: Gather the largest cadre of cats, including those that want to fight. Pick up and evolve Gatti Amari as Ameya Aisling.
• Kina: Defy the call to adventure in Emerald Diorama. Start a run on Emerald Diorama and quit immediately. Must complete the stage at least once beforehand.
• Imakoo: End anguish with an otherworldly melody as the greatest mechanical songstress. Defeat the final boss in the south portal on Emerald Diorama with Diva No. 5 and evolved Song of Mana weapon equipped.
• Malevolent Door Spirit: Let the last ruler re-freeze his most monstrous form. Defeat the boss in the southeast portal on Emerald Diorama while it is frozen. This can be done with the Clock Lancet weapon or the Orologion item pickup, which freezes all enemies for 10 seconds.
