How to Talk to Your Fans and Sign Autographs in Fortnite Chapter 7, Season 1
Time for a meet and greet.
The many weekly quests you can tackle in Fortnite Chapter Seven, season one have various themes to match the NPCs you can find around the island. Cat Holloway’s missions have you living like a celebrity, which means you’ll need to talk to your fans and sign some autographs.
This is one of the trickier tasks, since you’re not given any information regarding who your fans are or where they can be found. There are lots of characters wandering around the island, so finding who you’re looking for is fairly tough. If this quest has you stumped, here’s how to talk to your fans and sign autographs in Fortnite.
Where to Find Your Fans in Fortnite
There are four characters who qualify as fans for Cat Holloway’s talk to your fans and sign autographs quest. All of these characters are NPCs you can find around the island, including:
- Unpeely near the north end of Bumpy Bay.
- Vengeance Jones inside Lethal Labs.
- Heroic Hope at Classified Canyon.
- Carina near Fore Fields and Sandy Strip.
Talk to Your Fans and Sign Autographs in Fortnite
To complete the talk to your fans and sign autographs quest, you need to chat with two of your fans to sign autographs for them. There are four characters you can meet up with, but you’ll only need to interact with two to get this mission done.
The first step is finding one of the NPCs who count as a fan. Pick whichever one you like to start, ideally at a landing spot that is less popular, so you can progress this quest without worrying about enemy players. Walk up to the NPC and interact with them to open a dialogue menu.
Next, click on the circular chat bubble icon with a question mark in it. Doing so initiates the sign autograph option, thus checking off your first signature for a fan. Repeat this process again with one of the other three characters to officially finish this task.
Your progress for this mission tracks across rounds, so you don’t need to get it done in one go. Instead, you can tackle both signatures whenever you get around to doing so. All of the NPCs are fairly spread out across the map, which means getting around to visit multiple characters in just one round can be tricky, so this quest is a lot more doable since you don’t have to.
Some of the available characters are located at highly popular spots, while others are in less-known areas. If you want the best chance of getting this quest done easily, I recommend going for Carina near Fore Fields and Unpeely near Bumpy Bay. These two areas tend to be a lot less populated than the regions where you can find Vegeance Jones and Heroic Hope, so it’s a much safer bet.
With this mission out of the way, you can move on to tackling other tricky feats around the island. Next, you might consider purchasing a service from The Bride, entering a Forsaken Vow Rift Gate, and using Unstable Element.
