This can be a tricky task to get done since she’s a tough character to locate. It’s also difficult because you’ll need quite a lot of gold bars to get what you need. If you’re struggling to get this quest done, here’s how to purchase a service from The Bride in Fortnite.

You can find The Bride near the north end of Sandy Strip. She wanders around close to the balcony inside the Olympus Oasis building, which is right behind The Shape, the massive smiling purple shape in the middle of the area.

She’s generally found standing on the balcony facing The Shape, but she does wander around a bit from time to time. Luckily, she’s wearing a bright yellow outfit, making her super easy to spot from afar once you’re in the general right area.

To complete the purchase a service from The Bride quest, you need to locate The Bride at Sandy Strip, interact with her, and select the gain 100 health or shields option. While many other NPCs you can find around the island offer a few different services, this is the only one she has available for sale, and it costs 500 gold bars.

Before you can buy this service, you need to ensure your health or shields are below 100. If both bars are full, you’ll need to find a way to lower one or the other, as you can only buy it if there’s room for her to help fill up one of the two bars.

In Chapter Seven, season one, gold bars work a bit differently than usual, making this task a lot trickier to get done. Previously, all gold bars you had carried across all rounds, allowing you to stock up and save any you found. In this season, though, your inventory of gold bars resets in each round, which means you must first spend time gathering the 500 needed before you meet up with The Bride.

Gold bars drop when you eliminate players, open cash registers, complete certain quests, and open some chests. You basically need to loot around and fight a bit to get the amount you need to purchase a service from The Bride.

While you may be tempted to land somewhere else on the island to work on gathering gold bars, it’s best to head straight to Sandy Strip so you can ensure you’re able to run over to The Bride as soon as possible once you have the funds you need. If you get the funds somewhere else, you might perish on your way over to this location, thus losing all of the money you worked so hard to earn.

With this quest out of the way, you can move on to tackling other tricky feats around the island to claim more XP. If you’re not sure what to do next, consider working on damaging opponents from below, entering a Forsaken Vow Rift Gate, and using Unstable Element.
