To start the process of swapping between characters in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, you’ll need to bring up the Friendly Neighborhood App on the in-game phone, which is done in one of two different ways. You can either swipe left on the touchpad found on your controller, or you can use the Options button to hard pause the game and select “Open Friendly Neighborhood App” from the menu. Once you have access to the app, you’ll want to press and hold Square to start swapping between the two Spider-Men.
After a brief pause in the action, you’ll automatically swap to the Spider-Man of your choice, and you can continue fighting crime or partaking in different missions shown in the app. The choice is yours. With each Spider-Man having their own unique set of missions, you’ll find that certain characters can only complete a particular task.
