How to Solve the Cinematography Class Projector Puzzle in Tenebris Somnia

The Cinematography Class puzzle in Tenebris Somnia is a multi-step puzzle that involves using a camera to manipulate objects in the room and collecting several items to unlock the next area. You’ll need the RCA Cable from the Electrical Current Puzzle Room before attempting this puzzle. Here’s how to complete the Cinematography Class puzzle in Tenebris Somnia.
How to Solve the Cinematography Class Puzzle in Tenebris Somnia
Once you’ve collected the RCA Cable from the Electrical Current Puzzle Room, head downstairs to the Cinematography Class and use it on the camera to activate it.
Interact with the camera repeatedly to cycle through the different scenes until you see the outline of a woman appear on the wall.
Walk over to the outline and position your character inside it to match the pose. You’ll know you’re done when the character’s white outline fills up inside. Return to the camera and continue cycling through the scenes until you see a green door appear on the camera feed.
Now approach the glass window that the female figure is pushing against and strike it with your melee weapon until it shatters.
Head back to the camera and interact with it to progress the scene. Keep going until a bird appears in the scene. Keep changing the camera view until the bird lands on a tree branch with a Copper Seed in its beak. Approach the bird and interact with it to collect the Copper Seed.
Where to Use the Copper Seed
With the Copper Seed in your inventory, leave the Cinematography Class and head up to the first floor of the Film School. Walk all the way left down the hallway until you find a green vase. Stand in front of the vase and use the Copper Seed on it to grow and collect Copper Poppy Flowers.
Pick up the Copper Poppy Flowers and return downstairs to the Cinematography Class.
Approach the female figure and use the Flowers on her. This completes another part of the puzzle, but you’ll still need to interact with the camera to get the final key.
How to Get the Copper Key
Return to the camera and cycle through the scenes again. Keep interacting with it until the characters leave the screen. Once the male statue is no longer on the chair, approach the seat and collect the Copper Key.
Head over to the green door in the Cinematography Class’s projector view and use the Copper Key to unlock it.
You can now enter the TV Room, where you’ll need to activate several televisions in the dark to reveal a color pattern required for the elevator puzzle later in the game.
