How To Pressure And Stun Necrotic Entity in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth (FF7)

Take these enemies down with ease.

Cloud and friends try to take a little R&R, but of course, that’s not going to happen in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. As the cruise ship becomes overwhelmed by fiends, Black Robes merge with these creatures to become one of the most obnoxious foes in the game.

How To Pressure Necrotic Entity in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth

Video by Prima Games

If you’re hoping to put an end to these particularly pesky pests, you’ll want to hold back on an all-out offensive until they start winding up for an attack. As shown in the video above, I went with Tifa for this particular battle, as she’s fast and powerful when I need her to be. The Necrotic Entity is easier to stun when they are charging or unleashing an attack, so swap to a different character if you find your main go-to being attacked and unleash some fury upon them. Their Pressure gauge will begin to fill quickly, giving you the perfect chance to unleash a flurry of attacks and Stun them. If you had more players in your party, they would be a breeze to cut through, but this section locks you to specific party members, so plan ahead.

If you equip the Assess Materia and use it, you will find they have no discernable weaknesses — much like the Thunderclaws. Even trying the same tactic, Bio/Poison doesn’t do much to increase their Pressure gauge, so you’ll need to depend on your basic attacks or Attack Shortcuts to make quick work of them when they start charging things up. Swapping between Party Members if you’ve found yourself the victim of their Onslaught or other attacks is vital, so prepare yourself for anything and get ready to go on the attack when you are attacked, as well. At least you should receive an Ether Onion for beating them.
