Marvel Zombies is the first PvE mode in Marvel Rivals, which means you’re working with your teammates, or on your own, to fight NPC enemies rather than actual players. In this mode, zombies have overtaken this city, and it’s up to you to eliminate them.

Marvel Rivals Zombies Guide

The gameplay in Marvel Zombies generally unfolds across the span of unique phases, generally nine of them, although you’ll encounter more phases when you reach the higher difficulty levels. In most phases, a horde of zombies is unleashed, and your goal is to eliminate them all to move forward.

In some phases, your objective looks a bit different. Some phases have you focus on beating a special zombie boss, and one phase has you protecting a special statue. Otherwise, your objective is always the same, which is simply to eliminate all zombies to move on.

Marvel Zombies works a lot differently from all other modes, as you only have five characters from the vast hero roster to choose from. The limited number of available characters is likely due to all of them having special, event-exclusive abilities and upgrades. The heroes you can choose from are as follows.

This mode supports one to four players, so in most matches you play, you’ll have three teammates. Although there are only five characters to choose from, multiple players can choose the same heroes, so if you want to defeat the zombie invasion with a team full of Jeffs, you’re free to do so. All Marvel Zombies Bosses in Marvel Rivals

There are two bosses you’ll face in your journey across the city in Marvel Zombies: Zombie Namor, a smaller boss, and Zombie Scarlet Witch, also known as The Queen of the Dead, the big bad boss of this game mode. In the lower difficulty levels, you’ll face Zombie Namor during the fifth phase and Zombie Scarlet Witch during the ninth and final phase.

Once you reach the higher levels, you’ll still have to fight both bosses, but afterwards, you’ll have to fight them together, too. And on the toughest level of all, you’ll need to beat two Scarlet Witches at once. Beating Scarlet Witch is the toughest part of all levels, so make sure you play carefully whenever you reach this point.

When Does Marvel Zombies End in Marvel Rivals?

The special Marvel Zombies mode is a limited-time event, so you have from Oct. 23 to Dec. 5 to enjoy it before it leaves. This means it’s available to tackle for about a month and a half, or six weeks.

This mode was originally only set to run from Oct. 23 to Nov. 13, giving players only about three weeks to enjoy everything it had to offer before it was meant to leave. Luckily, though, it was extended by a whole month, which means there’s now plenty of time to earn all the exclusive rewards it offers.

If you’re looking for a break from fighting wave after wave of zombies, you might enjoy tackling other tasks in Marvel Rivals. Completing achievements is a great way to pass the time and unlock new rewards, so consider working on The DefendersPrank of Monkey King, and Blueprints Supreme next.
