Deadpool has the most abilities of any hero in Marvel Rivals, as he comes with lots of base skills, plus upgrades you can unlock and different moves depending on which role you choose to play him in. It also gets a bit confusing because some abilities have the same name, but completely different effects across each of his possible roles.

Here’s a full breakdown of all the abilities you can use throughout Deadpool’s entire kit.

Deadpool Base Abilities in Marvel Rivals

While most of Wade’s skillset changes with each role or with different stances active, he does retain the same two passive abilities across all forms. These abilities are always active, which means you don’t need to press any buttons to use them. Here are the two moves he always has.

What Role is Deadpool in Marvel Rivals?

Deadpool is the first-ever three-in-one character, which means he can be any role you want him to be. This includes a Vanguard, who leads the team into battle and stays on the frontline to protect them, a Strategist, who heals and supports allies, and a Duelist, who is focused on dishing out as much damage as possible to eliminate foes.

What is Deadpool’s Difficulty Rating in Marvel Rivals?

Deadpool is technically listed as a zero out of five difficulty character, but this choice seems to be part of his silly antics rather than a real reflection of his actual toughness to learn and master. I’d argue that his true rating is more like five out of five difficulty, as he has three possible roles to learn and a complex upgrading system to go with it. He’s certainly not beginner-friendly and takes maximum effort to truly understand.

Deadpool Lord Icon in Marvel Rivals

Deadpool’s Lord icon is by far the most unique one we’ve seen so far. While most Lord icons show heroes in a battle-ready pose with some special effects and a serious expression, Deadpool’s is a goofy, even more cartoonified version of just his head.

Who Voices Deadpool in Marvel Rivals?

Deadpool is voiced by Alejandro Saab in Marvel Rivals. He’s lent his voice to many iconic characters across gaming and other media, like Cyno in Genshin Impact, Kaigaku in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle, Jing Yuan in Honkai: Star Rail, Quentin Beck in What If…? and Dunk in Date Everything!.

There’s plenty more to uncover in the update that launched with Deadpool, so consider checking out the season six patch notes to learn more. And if you’re looking for some tasks to tackle while you work on mastering his skillset, you may want to work through some achievements like Grand Garden GatorLost in The GameThe DefendersPrank of Monkey King, and Blueprints Supreme.
