Do you aspire to become a famous internet personality in The Sims 4? Maybe, rather than going the path of fame, you prefer helping others achieve success. If you prefer going this route, you may have a Sim in the Public Relations branch of the social media career who is trying their best to figure out how to network with others, gain followers or boost their charisma. The Sims 4: City Living – How to Network With Journalists

To start down the Public Relations branch and work with journalists, head onto any computer, select Social Networking and pick Network with Journalists. Your character will sit at their desk to work and, after some brief typing, will gain at least 150 followers. If your attempt is successful, you’ll also receive a “Strong Networking Skills” focused moodlet.

While networking with journalists mainly appears as a Work from Home assignment or daily task, you can also do this to boost your follower count and gain a focused moodlet. However, like other social networking tasks, there is a chance it’ll flop, giving you no followers.

Another benefit of doing this is its zero cooldown. Since having a focused moodlet increases your chances of success, you can repeatedly perform the action to gain a ton of followers quickly. I did this early in my Sim’s PR career, knowing how difficult it is to get followers in this branch compared to the Internet Personality route. It was surprisingly effective and got me through my first few promotions without issues.
