How to Cook Pleasantly-Unpleasant Waffles in The Sims 4: Home Chef Hustle

To cook pleasantly unpleasant waffles, you must own a waffle maker and have level 10 cooking skill. You can get the ChowBella Heart Waffle Maker in the Sims build menu for 280 Simoleons, which you can place on your lot and use to cook this dish. From here, max your cooking level and interact with the waffle maker to find the pleasantly unpleasant waffles at the bottom.

If you’re on a lot with the Simple Living lot challenge, you’ll also have to supply the following ingredients:

  • Batter
  • Trash Fruit
  • Any Strawberry

With this lot trait, you must gather these items to cook the waffles. Otherwise, they’ll reduce the cost and time it takes to make them.

How to Get Batter, Trash Fruit, and Strawberries

You’ll need some garbage, strawberries, and a stand mixer to gather each ingredient for pleasantly unpleasant waffles. Strawberries are the easiest to obtain, as you can get these from starter fruit packs or grocery deliveries. Trash fruit, on the other hand, requires kicking over a garbage can, waiting for the trash to grow into a plant, and harvesting it.

Lastly, you can create batter in a stand mixer using flour, milk, eggs, and sugar if you’re using the Simple Living lot challenge. Otherwise, you can prep some with 45 Simoleons. If you want to reduce the cost of creating batter or need them for the lot challenge, you can get these items from your in-game phone’s grocery delivery or the grocery market stalls in Henford-on-Bagley if you have the Cottage Living expansion.
