What Items Are Required to Build an Electric Fence in Sons of the Forest?
To build an Electric Fence in Sons of the Forest, you first need to get your hands on three of the following items:
- Sticks
- Wire
- Solar Panel
Sticks are pretty common in the game, and you will find them everywhere on the ground. You can also assign Kelvin to grab sticks for you if you are short on them.
Next up are the Wires. You can also get these in abundance all over the map. The most common spots to find them are Abandoned Camps, inside Supply Cases, and on Shelves.
Last but not least are Solar Panels, which are more difficult to find from the list of required items. The best place to find them is inside Bunkers or Supply Cases.
How to Build an Electric Fence in Sons of the Forest
Once you have all three of the required items, you can now make an Electric Fence in your base. Make a wooden platform on the floor or a ramp and place the Solar Panel on it. If you are unsure how to correctly make one, then you should learn how to make Solar Panels in Sons of the Forest.
Now, build a fence with sticks that will cover the base. You will need a large quantity of sticks to cover your entire base. Another thing to note is that the fence without stones at its base will break if you run into it, so if you want to make it sturdy, you should place stones at the base of the wooden fence.
Once you have a fence around your base, grab Wire from your backpack and click on the fence to create a wiring system on it. Repeat it for all the sections of the fences till the whole of it is covered in wires.
For the last part, you need to make a connection between the Solar Panel and the wirings on the fence. Hold the wire in your hand and aim at the platform on which you have placed the Solar Panel. You will see an arrow on the surface of the platform. Press Left-Click to place wires on the platform, powering up the Solar Panel. Click on the platform and then on the nearest fence to make a connection with the Solar Panel.
