How to Make a Cobblemon Server for Minecraft
Cobbelmon is an open-source mod for Fabric and Forge that allows you catch dozens of your favorite Pokemon.
Before we even start, you’ll need to install Java. Once that’s done, you’ll have a list of other items you’ll need to download, so buckle up.
Fabric Mod Client:
- Download Fabric Loader v1.19.2
- Download Fabric API
- Download Architectury API
- Download Cobblemon for Fabric.
- Place the Fabric API, Architectury API, and Cobblemon-Fabric in your mods folder.
Forge Mod Client:
- Download Forge v1.19.2
- Download Kotlin for Forge
- Download Architectury API for Forge
- Download Cobblemon for Forge.
- Place the Architectury API, Kotlin and Cobblemon-Forge in your mods folder.
Once you have these downloaded, you’ll need to locate the Cobblemon Mod in its Folder.
How to Find the Cobblemon Mod for Windows
- Navigate to search bar and enter: {drive}\Users\{username}\Appdata/Roaming\.minecraft
- If a mods folder isn’t there, create one titled “mods” in lowercase, within the .minecraft folder

How to Find the Cobblemon Mod for Mac
- Navigate to Finder and enter ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft
- If a mods folder isn’t there, create one titled “mods” in lowercase, within the .minecraft folder
Or, if that doesn’t work, try this:
- Open Minecraft
- Select Options
- Navigate to Resource Packs
- Open the Resource Pack folder
- Navigate up one folder
- Select the .minecraft folder
- If a mods folder isn’t there, create one titled “mods” in lowercase, within the .minecraft folder
Once you’ve placed the Cobblemon mods in your Minecraft mods folder, open Minecraft and select the Launcher in the release dropdown menu located to the left of the “Play” button.
And that’s it! It’s a bit of finger work, but you’ve managed to do it. And now you’re ready to go out and become a Pokemon Master.
