As you play through BitLife’s Black Market pack and find various means to purchase goods, you may notice a big button in the shopping category called a storage unit auction house. However, once you tap it, you’ll find a message telling you only “serious collectors” can participate. How do you prove your worth and access the auction house? That’s what I’m here to tell you about. If you are curious, continue reading to discover how to unlock storage unit auctions in BitLife’s Black Market expansion pack.

BitLife: How to Unlock Storage Unit Auctions

Unlocking the storage unit auction house in BitLife requires you to participate in regular auctions until you receive a message inviting you to the event. This message will tell you that someone is asking you to a storage unit auction, allowing you to either decline or participate. Doing this begins the auction automatically, unlocking them for the rest of your character’s life.

After joining in on your first storage unit auction, you can return to the shopping menu and participate in one auction annually, just like regular ones. However, there’s only one storage unit event available per year, so be sure to make the most of it!

Like a regular auction, you’ll find a starting bid, timer, and options to bid or pass on the offer. If you choose to bid, you can use the slider to determine how much you want to pay, and you’ll either win or get outbid by another NPC.

If you win, you’ll find out how many items were in the storage unit and sell them to the pawn shop. While these items aren’t too valuable, you’ll often (but not always) find precious collectibles you can exhibit in a museum or sell to someone. However, these are not always high-value either, as the picture below shows an example of a $60 book my character got from a $70,000 storage unit.

Nonetheless, they’re worth checking out occasionally if you have the money, as the collectibles you obtain can be worth thousands or even millions if you’re lucky.
