The Hollywood Star is an item in BitLife that you can buy in the BitLife Marketplace. To access this, head into your main menu, tap the marketplace button, and scroll through until you see “Hollywood Star”. Just be prepared to spend real money, as there are no options to get this item for free.
Fortunately, it is a one-time purchase, so you won’t have to worry about buying it repeatedly to use its perks.
What Does the Hollywood Star Do in BitLife?
The Hollywood Star allows you to become famous instantly! If your job or special career has a fame option, you’ll bypass working hard for years and become famous immediately. However, you’ll still have to apply for the job and meet its prerequisites and skill requirements.

To put this into perspective, I used this to instantly become a famous country star on one of my characters. While she still had to practice the guitar and pass auditions as a solo artist, I didn’t have to create any albums or perform live concerts before getting the fame pop-up. Instead, I saw the following message:
“I wished on my Hollywood Star that I’d become famous overnight. It shimmered in response. I am officially famous.”
