Wingdrake Hide is a common material that is used to craft or upgrade armors in Monster Hunter Wilds. Follow our guide to learn where and how to get Wingdrake Hide.
Where to Get Wingdrake Hide in Monster Hunter Wilds
You can get Wingdrake Hide from the two flying Small Monsters in Monster Hunter Wilds – Harpios and Baunos. Both of these monsters are pretty common to find in Scarlet Forest, Oilwell Basin, and Windward Plains.
You can find the monsters roaming around the area in a pack of four or five. To track them on the mini-map, press the corresponding button on the bottom left of the screen to display the options. Navigate to the right and select “Filter Icons” to display the filter list. From the list, navigate to the “Small Monsters” to display Harpios and Baunos on the list.

Since Harpios and Baunos are part of the Small Monsters in the game, they will appear on the map as small pink diamonds. Hover over them to show whether these are the monsters you need. If not, then scroll to the right to see other monsters and hover over them to check if they are either Harpios or Baunos.

When you find them on the map, set a waypoint on their location and get going. You will see them flying in the sky and will have to use your Slinger to get them on the ground. Once they are stunned and fall to the ground, use your weapon to slay them before they fly away.
It is a guarantee that you will get a Wingdrake Hide from Harpios and Baunos when you carve their carcasses. A Low Rank Harpios and Baunos will always drop Wingdrake Hide, while a High Rank Harpios and Baunos will drop Wingdrake Hide+.
If you are looking to farm Harpios and Baunos monsters, make sure you do it near a Pop-Up Camp so that you can rest while more of them spawn again.
Following the above will get you Wingdrake Hides as much as you want. If you are looking for more guides like these, take a look at how to find Firestone in Monster Hunter Wilds.
