Genshin Impact 3.1 introduced an extension to Sumeru, new weapons, and characters to try out. Since getting new weapons is a staple for the game, it makes sense that you’ll want to learn how to get the newly-added Damaged, Turbid and Radiant Prism ascension materials. If you’re interested in learning more, continue reading to discover how to get Turbid Prisms in Genshin Impact.
How to Get Turbid Prisms in Genshin Impact
There are three main ways to get Turbid Prisms in Genshin Impact:
- Defeating Level 40+ Primal Construct enemies
- Purchasing from Paimon’s Bargains for fifteen Masterless Stardust
- Crafted using three Damaged Prisms
Paimon’s Bargains
Of these three methods, buying from Paimon’s Bargains is the quickest way to obtain Turbid Prisms. Go to Paimon’s Bargains and look for the Prism under the Stardust Exchange. One costs fifteen Masterless Stardust, making it an expensive method if you’re low on stardust.
Crafting Using Damaged Prism
If you just finished using your Damaged Prisms and have some leftovers, you can convert them into Turbid Prisms at any Crafting Bench. For every Turbid Prism you plan on making, you need three Damaged Prisms.

Defeating Level 40 Primal Constructs
The most efficient method of obtaining Turbid Prisms is by defeating Primal Constructs in Sumeru’s Desert region. After reaching Adventure Rank 35 and completing the necessary main story quests, travel west of Sumeru into the new desert. Below are some specific areas to search:
- The Mausoleum of King Deshret
- Eye of the Sands
- West of Dar al-Shifa, south of Aaru Village
- East of the Dune of Elusion
Out of these locations, the Mausoleum is by far your best bet if you want to fight a lot of Primal Constructs in a short time. However, if you wish to search quieter areas, the other three are great choices that spawn around 3-5 Constructs each. If you’d like to see each location and specific spawn points, check out the Genshin Impact Interactive Map.
Furthermore, while you’re fighting the Primal Constructs, you also have a chance to pick up Damaged and Radiant Prisms. You can use the Damaged variants to create Turbid Prisms, while the Radiant ones are useful later on!
