How to Get to the Wildlife Sanctuary Islands in Palworld

A short flight to lucrative shores.

Eventually, you’ll exhaust the creatures you can collect on the main islands, and you may wish to venture out into the ocean to find a few rare specimens. Here is how to get to the Wildlife Sanctuary Islands in Palworld.

Where to Find the Wildlife Sanctuary Islands in Palworld

There are three Wildlife Sanctuary Islands in Palworld, and they’re located in the ocean to the south, northwest, and northeast of the main islands in the game. You can only reach these unique locations by riding a flying or swimming mount, like Jormuntide, Vanwyrm, or Surfent.

It’s important to note that these sanctuaries live up to their namesake. It is considered illegal to battle and catch Pals within a sanctuary in Palworld, despite the rarity of some of these unique creatures, and you’ll likely stumble upon armed guards protecting the land. Furthermore, you’ll wind up with a Wanted status if you’re caught on the islands.

When you touch grass in a Wildlife Sanctuary in Palworld, you’ll get a “criminal activity” warning alerting you that you’re in a restricted area. However, you can cheat your way around this alert if you remain on your mount while exploring the sanctuary. As long as you never touch the ground, sanctuary guards won’t care about your trespassing. You can catch rare pals, battle, and open chests from the back of your mount as much as you like—right in front of a sanctuary guard’s face even—and you’ll never be held accountable for your actions.

But be warned that if your mount faints and your character falls to sanctuary ground near a guard, you’ll become Palworld’s most wanted fugitive. Personally, it’s a risk we’re willing to take to catch a Bushi!

All Wildlife Sanctuary Pals

Each Wildlife Sanctuary Island features a unique selection of Pals, with some overlap, that you can catch. They’re typically high-level monsters in their mid-20s and higher and prove exceptionally tough to fight and catch without the appropriate Pal Spheres. I recommend bringing along plenty of Mega and Giga Spheres!
