The First Berserker Khazan – All Soulstones in Mount Heinmach

The First Berserker: Khazan takes the Nioh approach to missions with linear levels that you can replay. This means items have fixed locations, and you’ll often want to revisit levels to collect everything before moving on. Soulstones enhance Khazan’s stats, and you can find a few in each level.
The first mission, Mount Heinmach, has a few Soulstones as well, and even though you can’t use those that early in the game, these are worth picking up for later.
All Soulstones in Mount Heinmach
There are two Soulstones to be found in Mount Heinmach.
First Soulstone in Mount Heinmach
- As you venture into the cave-like structures of Mount Heinmach, you’ll eventually run into the Pell Los Centurion. This is your first major challenge, but defeating him will lead you to the first Soulstone in the game.
- As you finish him off, you need to go up by taking the left path from where you fought the Pell Los Centurion.
- Continue forward, and you’ll see the first Soulstone in the distance but it’s not reachable just yet.
- Make your way into the cave and fight off the two soldiers, but instead of going straight, stick to the right until you see a drop-down path.
- Jump down and keep going straight until you reach the Soulstone formation. Break it to collect the Soulstone.
Second Soulstone in Mount Heinmach
- Continue through the mission and you’ll eventually descend towards a frozen area with a Yeti in sight. You can hear its roar, but you don’t have to face it outright.
- Make your way through the crevice and instead of going forward, turn left instead.
- Follow the upward path on the left, and you’ll see the Soulstone at the very end of the cliff.
Do the same thing as before and smash the Soulstone to collect it. This won’t be usable at the moment, but it’s a very valuable resource for later.
What To Do With Soulstones in the First Berserker Khazan?
Once you’ve acquired a few Soulstones, you can use these to improve a few specific stats by interacting with Daphrona.
She uses Soulstones and buffs the following by a certain percentage.
- Lacrima Gain
- Max Spirit
- Health Recover Increase
You will have a choice between two of these stats above every time you “Unleash Soulstones”. Daphrona first appears in the Forgotten Temple (Mission 3) next to a Blade Nexus, and you can’t miss her.
You can meet her in the Crevice as well.
It’s always worth it to keep an eye out for these, and you can track if you have found all Soulstones from the overworld menu in the Crevice. Additionally, if you find all Soulstones in a level, you will get a notification that all of these have been found.
