There’s a lot of materials to gather out in the world of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, and one important one is said to come from the Tree of Life itself. Here’s how to get Sycamore Wood in FF7 Rebirth.
Where to Find Sycamore Wood in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth (FF7)
In FF7 Rebirth, Sycamore Wood can be found scattered around the Corel Region, and you’ll find plenty of it as soon as you finish all your beach time activities in Costa del Sol as it’s lying everywhere right outside of town. However, it’s not only located outside of Costa del Sol but practically everywhere in the massive Corel Region. Like most materials, you’ll find it on the ground next to other materials like Ancient Bark and Planet’s Benison.
I had the most luck finding Sycamore Wood off the main path from Costa del Sol as seen in the screenshot above. If you hop between Intel points while you’re naturally exploring, you’re bound to find plenty of it lying around.
What is Sycamore Wood Used for in FF7 Rebirth?
Sycamore Wood is classified as a 4-star rarity material, despite it being widely available in the Corel Region. It’s described as wood from a robust tree, also called the Tree of Life, and provides a sturdy base for transmuting bracers and armlets.
One example of what you can make with Sycamore Wood is the Beguiling Armlet.
Beguiling Armlet | Requires |
---|---|
Ancient Bark | 20 |
Sycamore Wood | 10 |
Planet’s Benison | 5 |
The Beguiling Armlet is a Grade V armor piece that offers +15 defense, +15 magic defense, and a whopping four materia slots, two of which are linked.
Crafting via Transmutation is an invaluable mechanic in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, and you would be wise to take advantage of it when you can. Not only will it save you tons of Gil that you’d otherwise spend at vendors, but it encourages exploration that could lead to even greater rewards.
Sycamore Wood isn’t the only material you’ll want to stock up on in the Corel Region. Check out our guide on how to find Ancient Bark in FF7 Rebirth here.
