How to Get Snout Armor Trim in Minecraft

Baby wake up, the new Minecraft drip is here

In order to face bigger challenges in Minecraft, getting the strongest armor available is inevitable. And if you feel like Diamond gear is just not enough, getting yourself a Smithing Template can make for some even stronger armor with different visual patterns. The Snout Armor Trim is among the ones you can find for that.

Just like the other Templates available, it applies a visual update for Diamond armor while also enhancing its stats, so you can see it as a way to get both stronger and prettier without skins.

Where to Find Snout Armor Trim in Minecraft

The Snout Armor Trim can be obtained in two different ways. Your first one hast to be found the hard way: By heading into Bastion Remnants in the Nether and finding them in treasures. They have around 8,3% chance of being inside any chest inside the construction, so you better come prepared to fend off possible threats to your life while scavenging them.

If lady luck smiled on you and you already got your first Armor Trim, you can now craft more of them. For that, you’ll need the following:

  • 1x Blackstone
  • 7x Diamond

After that, arrange them in the crafting table as in the image above to duplicate your Trim. You’ll need a total of 5 Blackstones and 35 Diamonds if you’re going for full Armor + Sword upgrades.

How to Use Snout Armor Trim in Minecraft

Aside from duplicating itself, Trims are used to customize your Diamond gear with some neat stripes around it. For that, go for the Smithing Table and place a Snout Armor Trim, your desired Diamond gear and a Netherite. And with that, you now have a new, unique piece of equipment way better looking than before!

They beat the regular Diamond armor by a bit, while also enhancing your defense even further, so they’re definitely worth chasing. If you don’t like this specific Snout template, there are tons of other ones available to find in different structures around the game. But before all that, make sure to get yourself a Smithing Table to enhance all of that.
