After spending enough time in the wastelands of Diablo 4, you’ll notice that your inventory will become absolutely cluttered with a bunch of multi-colored gems. While these gems aren’t too useful at first, new crafting recipes will be unlocked as you level up. Eventually you will be able to craft Royal Gems, which are some of the strongest gems in the game. How to Craft Royal Gems in Diablo 4
Diablo 4 players can craft Royal Gems at the Jeweler once they reach Level 70. However, they can pick up and use these gems at Level 60 without having to craft them.
This means that any friends or clan-mates can trade you Royal Gems, and as long as you are Level 60, you’ll be able to attach them to your gear. Royal Gems are the next tier above Flawless Gems and provide a more powerful stat bonus.
It is a common misconception that you need to be on World Tier 4 to unlock Flawless and Royal Gems. I’m not sure where this rumor started, but this is not true!

How to Craft Flawless Gems in Diablo 4
Flawless Gems can be crafted at the Jeweler when the player reaches Level 60. You can pick up and utilize Flawless Gems at level 50, however.
Again, these are weaker than Royal Gems but still provide great benefits to your gear. Although they aren’t technically gems, you can also craft Royal and Flawless Skulls which provide arguably better buffs to your gear! These seem to be a bit more uncommon however!
