How to Get Reverse Charging Coils in The First Descendant

Time to farm a thousand of these.

The resource, Reverse Charging Coil, has many uses in The First Descendant. They are a much-needed material to stockpile, even if you don’t plan on researching Descendants or Ultimate Weapons. Here’s how to get Reverse Charging Coils and every recipe it is used for in The First Descendant.

Where to Get Reverse Charging Coils in The First Descendant

If you are farming Reverse Charging Coils, you need to unlock the last region on normal mode, the Fortress. These materials drop from Resource Boxes and Munition Capsules, similar to farming common materials like Ceramic Composites. Finding these Munition Capsules and Resource Boxes is quite random, but they actually have fixed spawn points. They also respawn relatively quickly (less than 2 minutes).

You need a great farming spot since you want to farm hundreds or even thousands of Reverse Charging Coils. Go to the Aurora Forest battlefield in the Fortress region. In the image above, go to the location with the red circle. There will be some Resource Boxes outside, but there is also a cave in this area.

The cave contains three more Resource Boxes and two Munition Capsules, which makes this spot one of the best farming locations for Reverse Charging Coils. Since you’ll have to wait a little before these Munition and Resource Boxes respawn, you can activate the Snowy Heights mission. It is a supply mission, so you only have to defeat enemies, pick up the dropped supplies, and deposit them.

It is also worth noting that the Hellion resource can drop from the Resource Boxes and Muntion Capsules. You’ll have to keep farming until you get Reverse Charging Coils. In my experience, Reverse Charging Coils drop more frequently than Hellion resources.

Ultimate Bunny and Ultimate Gley are two of the most wanted materials here. They both require 1,023 Reverse Charging Coils, so it’ll be an extremely long grind. I suggest finishing the mission next to the farming spot so you can get some Kuiper Shards to upgrade your Modules.
