The Phantom Liberty expansion brings a handful of new upgrades to your Cyberware in Cyberpunk 2077 through the Relic Tree. This new tree is entirely independent of the rest of the skills in the game, and to unlock them, you need to find more Relic Points scattered around Dogtown.
Where to Find Relic Points in Cyberpunk 2077 (Phantom Liberty)
You can get Relic Points by downloading data from Militech Data Terminal boxes in Dogtown or by completing some of the main Phantom Liberty missions. Searching for Terminal boxes around the new map is the most time-consuming, but it will yield the best results for upgrading the Relic Tree. As soon as you start Phantom Liberty, you can find a shining box just before the Space Force One crash.
To find Relic Points, pay attention to your minimap and watch for the Cyberpunk 2077 “R” symbol. You will instantly recognize the symbol as the same one that your Arasaka Relic from the main story. After all, Songbird is helping you tap into the potential of that same Cyberware, so it makes sense. The symbol will pop up when you are close to a Militech Data Terminal.
Relic Point boxes simply require a quick jack, and then a new point is added to the tree. However, most of these boxes are in dangerous areas, and you need three points for the three main skills in the tree. At least the boxes are bright yellow with a blinding light on the front side.
How to Earn Relic Points in Cyberpunk 2077:
- Explore Dogtown for Militech Data Terminals.
- Speak to Songbird and complete the main Phantom Liberty quests.
As you play the main Phantom Liberty story in Cyberpunk 2077, you can earn around six Relic Points. Songbird gives you three points when you speak to her for the first time, and you will get more points for helping her after the casino party. The rest of the points need to be discovered around Dogtown.
