Where to Obtain Raw Prime Meat in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK)

The main way to obtain raw prime meat is to defeat medium- to large-sized wild animals. In particular, I’ve found that wolves are the best for finding this resource, as they travel in packs and are found everywhere in Hyrule. However, you can also hunt deer and boars for some.

As a quick example, I found some wolves while exploring south of Rito Village at coordinates (-3452, 1319, 0123). This map location is also shown in the screenshot below!

While this wasn’t the first time I’d encountered a group of wolves, it’s a memorable example, as I initially tried to find some fish. It shows that wolves can show up at any given moment, ready for you to farm some prime meat from.

Another source of raw prime meat is exploring Hyrule’s forests for deer and boars. I found several of these animals while venturing through Ginner and Midla Woods, west of Hateno Village, at coordinates (3157, -2132, 0069).

What is Raw Prime Meat Used For in TOTK?

Raw prime meat is mainly used for cooking! You can use it as a substitute for regular raw meat or create special dishes like Prime Spiced Meat Skewers or Prime Meat Curry. While the meat by itself provides no status buffs, you can combine it with other ingredients to improve these meals and add effects!
