Is there an Eeveelution that isn’t cute? Seriously, I can’t choose the best one. Umbreon’s adorable, Espeon is beautiful, Sylveon is delightful… And let’s not forget Leafeon. If you’re looking to add it to your team in the Paldea region, here’s everything you need to know about how to get Leafeon in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

How to Evolve Leafeon in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Evolving Leafeon is easy to do, unlike other Eeveelutions such as Espeon and Umbreon which require a specific time of day to evolve. You only need two things: an Eevee and a Leaf Stone.

Where to Get a Leaf Stone in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

You can either find a Leaf Stone on the ground in the Paldea region or buy one. To purchase a Leaf Stone, you must have beaten at least three Gyms. This will cause the Delibird Presents stores in Mesagoza, Levincia, and Cascarrafa to start stocking Evolution Stones – including Leaf Stones.

If you’d rather get one for free and hunt one down in the wild, the best place to look is in the Tagtree Thicket. There’s specifically one by the cliff to the east, though click on every sparkling spot you see just in case.

With the Leaf Stone secured, all that’s left is to use it on your Eevee. To do this, open your Bag, go to the Other Items tab, and scroll down until you find it. Select it and you’ll see your Eevee has “Can Use” underneath it. Click on the Pokemon and the evolution will automatically trigger.
