I’m not generally a fan of semi-automatic rifles in video games, especially one like Starfield. They feel too slow and cumbersome to enjoy. And I’d like to say Head Ranger made me change my mind because it’s an excellent rifle for the mid-game, but it’s not my bag. But that’s okay because perhaps it’s yours! Here is how to get Head Ranger in Starfield.

Where to Get Head Ranger in Starfield

To get Head Ranger in Starfield, you need to hit up Laredo firearms in Akila City, where you may buy the unique rifle for 8,131 credits. It’s not too expensive, and it should serve you well if your goal is to join the Freestar Rangers or play a sharpshooter-like class.

Head Ranger is a unique variant of the Lawgiver, an extremely accurate semi-automatic rifle typically found in the Freestar Collective. It’s the go-to choice for most of their operatives.

Head Ranger Stats and Details

If you can look past the low fire rate, magazine size, and the overall hefty weight of Head Ranger, it’s a fine weapon that excels at medium to long-range encounters. A good test run would be when tackling the Shaw Gang alongside Sam Coe during the main questline mission “The Empty Nest.”
