Where to Find Akila City in Starfield

You can get to Akila City by grav jumping to the Cheyenne System, which is close to the Alpha Centauri system at the start of the game. Cheyenne has a planet named Akila, which is where you need to land after grav jumping, and it’s the home of Akila City. As always, you can jump to the system and then land on the planet by fast traveling to the surface.

When you attempt to jump to the Cheyenne System in Starfield, there will be two options. The second jump option is the Maheo System, and it won’t help you on this search. Some systems are close enough together that they need their names under the same tab, but that doesn’t mean they are necessarily related.

Like other cities such as New Atlantis, Akila City is full of different missions to complete and a full-blown faction quest in the form of the Freestar Collective. Because this will be your first time in the city, you need to land at the main port and make your way past the gates. Everyone will have to deal with a bank robbery as a greeting and it helps to have Sam Coe for this.

Sam Coe is from Akila City and he can help you with some of the dialogue checks on the planet. To kill two birds with one stone, just wait until you want to complete The Empty Nest mission and you can knock out all these steps in Starfield at once.

While you’re on the planet, find out how you can join the Freestar Rangers in Starfield.
