Farm Soil is crafted at the Farmer using 7 Springlands Dirt and 3 Bonemeal. Each batch produces 10 Farm Soil. You can collect Springlands Dirt by digging the ground in the Springlands. To make Bonemeal, process Bones at the Grinding Stones. However, the best way to get Farm Soil is to just steal it. You will find Farm Soil pretty much in every small settlement or village; Harvest Homestead is an easy early-game place to find it.

Fossilized Bone Dust

Fossilized Bone Dust is made by processing Fossilized Bone at the Mill or Grinding Stones. You’ll need 2 Fossilized Bone Dust for each batch of Fertilised Farm Soil.

Fossilized Bones can be found in the Nomad Highlands and other late-game areas. There is a good Bone deposit west of the Nomad Highlands Ancient Spire.

Nitrate

Nitrate is an alchemical material crafted at the Laboratory. The recipe requires 5 Shroud Sand, 1 Wood Acid, 1 Salt, and 5 Sand, producing 5 Nitrate. Laboratory is unlocked after completing Alchemist’s Scientific Instruments For A Laboratory Quest.

Sand

You need 10 Sand for each batch. You can mine Sand from sandy areas using your pickaxe. Regular Sand is sufficient, but Fine Sand, Veilwater Basin Sand, and Cinder’s Cradle Sand also work.

What Is Fertilised Farm Soil Used For?

Fertilised Farm Soil is mainly used to grow seedlings that require nutrient-rich soil. Compared to regular Farm Soil, it helps plants grow faster, making it useful when you’re building a farm at your base.

You’ll need it to produce seedlings for several plants, including:

  • Coffee
  • Rice
  • Pumpkin
  • Bamboo
  • Banana
  • Ginger
  • Saffron
  • Taro

You can craft these seedlings at the Seedbed using Fertilised Farm Soil and the corresponding plant material. Once the seedlings are ready, plant them at your base to start growing more resources.

Fertilised Farm Soil is also used in other crafting recipes, including Basalt Farm Soil and certain dyes.

If you’re planning to build a large farm in Enshrouded, it’s worth crafting a few batches of Fertilised Farm Soil early. It gives you access to more crops and helps you grow the plants required for later crafting recipes.
