The world of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth contains a massive amount of materials to gather which are required to transmute valuable items. One of those materials is Condor Cedar, and we’ll show you how to get it in FF7 Rebirth.
Where to Find Condor Cedar in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth (FF7)
In FF7 Rebirth, Condor Cedar can be found scattered around the Junon Region, specifically around the Fort Condor area. Like most materials, you’ll pick them up right off the ground in certain areas and normally find them grouped with other materials like Planet’s Benison and Planet’s Favor.
Since Condor Cedar is described as wood from large trees the condor occasionally uses to stalk its prey, the most reliable area to find it is the wooded area just west of Fort Condor.
If you’ve done the Fort Condor sidequest called “Dreaming of Blue Skies,” you’ve likely already been led to the Hunting Grounds area. If not, you’ll see its location on the map above.
What is Condor Cedar Used For in FF7 Rebirth?
Condor Cedar is classified as a 3-star rarity material, so they’ll be less common than the usual twigs and leaves you’ll find yourself collecting. As the cedar is made of tough and durable wood, you can expect to use it for transmuting armor and accessories rather than consumable potions.
One example of an early-game crafting recipe using Condor Cedar is the Gold Coral Amulet.
Gold Coral Amulet | Requires |
---|---|
Timber | 40 |
Condor Cedar | 10 |
Planet’s Favor | 5 |
Crafting via Transmutation is an invaluable mechanic in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, and you would be wise to take advantage of it when you can. Not only will it save you tons of gil that you’d otherwise spend at vendors, but it encourages exploration that could lead to even greater rewards.
Condor Cedar isn’t the only material you’ll want to stock up on in the Junon Region. Check out our guide on how to find Ether Onions in FF7 Rebirth here.
