How to Get Mega Spheres in Palworld

Palworld players can get Mega Spheres by either finding them in the environments and chests or crafting them with the Sphere Workbench. The first method can be rather random, as there is no guarantee that opening chests will yield Mega Spheres. They can also be randomly found while exploring, marked as a green ball on the ground.

The second method to craft Mega Spheres is more suitable but has a few requirements before they can be made. Players will first have to unlock the Mega Sphere by spending Technology Points at level 14.

Then players will have to unlock and build the Sphere Factory I structure. It can be unlocked at level 14 and requires 10 Paldium Fragments, 30 Wood, and 10 Nails. The sphere is also available in upgraded Sphere Factories.

Finally, players can craft the Mega Sphere at the Sphere Factory I with the following ingredients for one ball:

  • Two Paldium Fragments.
  • One Ingot.
  • Seven Wood.
  • Seven Stone.

How to Use Mega Spheres in Palworld

Players can use Mega Spheres to catch Pals in the wild by holding the RB button on controller or Q on keyboard, and releasing when your shot is lined up. A giant circle will hover over the Pal alongside a capture rate percentage that determines how easily it will be caught.

Players must have an empty slot in their inventory to hold Mega Spheres. Different spheres can be switched anytime during combat by pressing the 2 key or Down on the D-Pad.

How to Use Vixy to Dig Up Megaspheres

You can get Vixy to dig up megaspheres after upgrading them to three stars in the Pal Essence Condenser. It takes a lot of Pals to competely upgrade Vixy, so weigh the pros and cons of this. Vixy does this through their Partner Skill Dig Here!, which usually allows them to dig up regular spheres. However, once Vixy hits level 3, all spheres will become Megaspheres.

What are Lifmunk Effigies in Palworld?

Lifmunk Effigies are green statues scattered across the world in Palworld, and after obtaining a certain amount of them you can increase your catching power at a Statue of Power. Increasing your catching power will make catching Pals a little easier, and you can increase it mulitiple times, up to 10. Each time you want to increase your catching power, the amount of Lifmunk Effigies you’ll need will increase.

If you want to find Lifemunk Effigies easily, you can wait until nighttime, and fly around the map to find them glowing green in the dark. Otherwise, your best bet is to use a Lifmunk effigy map like this one from MapGenie.
