Thankfully, I’ve figured it out, and I’m here to help. So, here’s how to get a scoop for your NPC quests in News Tower.

How to Get a Scoop in News Tower

To get a scoop, you have to contest territory with one of the other news agencies in the city. To do this, you’ll need to click on either the green or purple districts that you have unlocked, as shown on the map below.

Click on “select district” and then start the day. Now keep a close eye on the globe, as a scoop could appear at any moment. Scoops have a clear glow around them, and when you click into the card, you’ll be able to see exactly which item the scoop is, as shown in the next screenshot.

Now all you have to do is beat your opponent to the scoop by assigning journalists. Those with higher skills will finish articles faster, and you’ll be able to get those scoops and appease the NPC, all while smashing the competition.

And that’s about all there is to it. You’ll have multiple scoops appear throughout a week, so make sure to get as many as the quest requires.
