Flashlights (and other light sources) are vital to most horror games, where most of your surroundings are pitch-dark. Here’s how you can get your very own Flashlight for yourself and your team, and which of the two flashlights you should pick in Lethal Company.
Where to Buy a Flashlight in Lethal Company
The Flashlight can be purchased at your ship’s Terminal. Access the Terminal and type “Store” to access the shop. Then, type “flashlight” or “pro-flashlight” to purchase either item. You can also purchase in bulk by typing “flashlight” followed by the quantity, for example flashlight 3.
After you have completed your purchase, you need to wait for the delivery of your goods to arrive.
The regular Flashlight costs 15 credits, while the Pro-Flashlight costs 25 credits. However, some discounts happen from time to time.
When do my purchased items get delivered in Lethal Company?
After you make your purchase, your items will be delivered soon after nearby. After a while, you will hear a rocket land near you, and it will start playing literal ice cream van music. Rush to the drop and pick it up, or it will get dragged back to the sender, and you will lose your order (and the money!).
I advise you to conduct your purchases while visiting the Company to conserve valuable time on the Moons where you’re hunting for scrap.
Can Flashlights be found in the Facilities on the Moons you visit?
So far, I have not found any flashlights as a random drop within any Facility on any Moon. If I do spot them as a drop in the future, I will update this article. However, you can pick up an Apparatus that you can use as a light source, and then you can sell it.
Which Flashlight is Better in Lethal Company, Regular or Pro-Flashlight?
Both Flashlights come cheap, but the difference is vast:
- The Flashlight costs 15 Credits and lasts for 140 seconds (2 minutes and 20 seconds)
- Pro-Flashlight costs 25 Credits and lasts for 285 seconds (4 minutes and 45 seconds)
Pro-Flashlight is the clear winner. 10 Credits difference is basically nothing, and it gives a bigger beam of light and lasts twice as long! There’s no reason to ever buy a regular Flashlight if you ask me. Both can be recharged as well.
