Stop worrying about the radar.

Four new Plate Carriers were added to Call of Duty: DMZ beyond the standard versions with the launch of Season 3. Each one of them offers up some powerful perks, but it’s the 3-Plate Stealth Vest that players are clamoring for so they can easily stay off the radar on the map. Just keep in mind that the 3-Plate Comms Vest can counter this plate carrier.

The best way to get any of the new Plate Carriers is by utilizing the Barter System that was introduced, which will require plenty of supplies and some luck. Our guide will cover exactly what you need to craft the 3-Plate Stealth Vest in the DMZ, along with other methods to pick up the carrier.

For the most consistent method of finding one of these ghost-based vests, you can utilize the Bartering system that was brought into the DMZ. That means finding some materials and bringing them to a Buy Station for exchange. To craft the 3-Plate Stealth Vest, you’ll need two Electrical Components, one Game Console, and one Comic Book. The Electrical Components and the Comic Book can easily be found in office buildings or on random shelves, but the console is much rarer.

  • 1 Game Console
  • 1 Comic Book

Another method for getting the stealthy Plate Carrier is to kill the Scavenger or search Supply Drops. The drops are nothing new to DMZ and they will fall periodically. Finding the Scavenger is a different story. This new boss appears at the bodies of Operators and you’ll have to take on a wave of enemies to claim so good loot.

As always, the final method to get a 3-Plate Stealth Vest in COD DMZ is to simply take it from another player. Of course, it’s really not that simple and that means getting into some real danger, but it can also be a fast track to better loot and backpacks as long as you have some decent luck.
