Where Are the Chicken Eggs in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life?

Okay, so, I can’t tell you exactly where the eggs are disappearing. But I imagine it to be some kind of parallel universe where a confused farmer lives in a constant state of fear that suddenly, a new egg has spawned out of thin air whenever he turns around. What I can tell you, though, is that there are multiple ways to fix the glitch so that you can collect your chicken eggs.

Unfortunately, these suggestions do not permanently fix the glitch, and you will just have to incorporate them as part of your daily egg-collecting routine.

Methods to Get Chicken and Duck Eggs to Appear in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life

Below are the methods that I have personally used in my game to force the eggs to appear.

  • If no eggs have spawned when you enter the coop, exit and reenter the coop to force spawn them.
  • If no eggs have spawned when you enter the coop, exit, ring the bell to send the chickens and ducks outside, and then enter to collect the eggs.
  • Occasionally, an egg will teleport from under one bird to another, and you may pick up two eggs without realizing it.
  • If you pick up a chicken, and it makes a noise that confirms that it has laid an egg, but no egg is present, put the chicken back down, wait a few seconds, and pick it back up again to spawn the egg.
  • If an egg disappears in front of your eyes, sometimes changing the camera angle will make the egg reappear, allowing you to pick it up.
  • If you keep your chickens outside, sometimes the egg spawn will be delayed and will spawn where you last picked up the chicken, as opposed to where the chicken is currently located.

With the above methods, I have had success collecting most of my chicken eggs every day. Sometimes, I cannot collect them all due to them not appearing, but usually, I will find the egg the next day either somewhere in my paddock, or under another chicken. So, overall, as annoying as it can be, it usually evens out and I end up with the correct number of eggs. But, also, I have accepted that I just won’t collect every egg on every day, and that is something that I am OK with as there are better money-making methods in the game than eggs anyway.
