How to Fix Competitive Catalyst Not Working in Destiny 2
So, if you’re having trouble with the Competitive Catalyst and Top of Class not properly progressing, you’re not alone.
Luckily, Bungie has a workaround for players to ensure they can still push through the quests and work towards obtaining the Heir Apparent Catalyst.
“We’re currently investigating an issue causing players to not earn progress towards certain Medallion quest objectives. As a temporary workaround, players can gain progress by earning Bronze Medallions in the Guardian Games: Recreational Playlist.”
So you’ll need to focus on earning bronze medals to push the challenge forward. While this might take some extra time it’s better than no progress at all until Bungie can figure out a better solution or fix the problem entirely.
