There are several quests in Escape from Tarkov that require some keys to finish them. Some of them are easy to get, while some are ridiculously expensive. The price always depends on the supply and demand, combined with whether the quest offers more quests after completion. One of the quests highlighted by this situation is the Colleagues Part 2, which requires a Cottage back door key and leads to multiple tasks upon completion. How to Complete the Colleagues Part 2 Quest in Escape from Tarkov
To finish the Colleagues part 2 task, you must complete these objectives:
- Locate and obtain Sanitar’s surgery kit marked with a blue symbol on Shoreline
- Hand over Sanitar’s surgery kit to Therapist
- Locate and obtain Sanitar’s ophthalmoscope on Shoreline
- Hand over Sanitar’s ophthalmoscope to Therapist
Santiar’s surgery kit is located on the pier, while Sanitar’s ophthalmoscope is inside the locked cottage house near the middle of Shoreline. Both located are quite far apart, so it’ll take roughly 10 minutes minimum to get both tasks done. You can extract one quest item and submit it to the Therapist and go into a Shoreline raid again to finish the other one. However, most players would want to finish the quest in one raid to save time.
To finish the quest, you must have the Cottage back door key to open the locked cottage house and get Sanitar’s ophthalmoscope. You can buy a key in the flea market for a couple of million Roubles in the early wipe. After a month or so, the price will drop to 200-350k Roubles. So, depending on your progression, the price can differ a lot.
However, you can easily buy the key, use it to finish the quest, and sell the key again in the flea market. They added this feature back in 0.14 and implemented it fully in wipe or patch 0.15. You can buy the key and sell it for a slightly lower price as long as the tax isn’t that bad. Once you have the key, let’s head on to the locations.
Sanitar’s Ophthalmoscope Location in Escape from Tarkov
Sanitar’s ophthalmoscope is in the cottage house, which has an ambulance in the backyard and dead bodies covered in white sheets. This place is popular because of the quest, and the boss, Sanitar, and his bodyguards spawn here.
Go to the back door and use the Cottage back door key. Go inside and look for the staircase going to the second floor. Go inside the open room and look for the potted plant on the table. The ophthalmoscope is hidden behind the plant. Don’t forget to loot the PC block beside the table for a chance at a GPU for your Bitcoin farm.
Sanitar’s Surgery Kit Location in Esc ape from Tarkov
Sanitar’s Surgery Kit is located inside the building on the pier. The only entrance to the pier is through the main road, which means you’ll be open from the hills next to the gas station. Since there’s only one entrance, it also means that it is the only exit.
Once you go inside, be extremely quick, as other PMCs can camp the exit. Once inside the building, head to the staircase on the right side. Go up, and you’ll see a cabinet next to a table and a safe. Sanitar’s Surgery Kit is in one of the folders on top of the cabinet.
Keep in mind that there are two staircases on the first floor, and both of them lead to the second floor. You can access both sides of the office either way.
