How to get Venom Sac in Hytale

You can get Venom Sac in Hytale by defeating venomous creatures such as Spiders and Snakes. Spiders can be found on the surface or in cavern systems near webbed areas. There is currently no method to craft or quickly purchase Venom Sac in bulk.

Spiders can show up in groups in Caves, but they can also spawn on the surface, especially at night. Fighting spiders in dimly lit caverns can be tough, so make sure you have some armor equipped since the fights can drag out due to their relatively large health pools. The best strategy is to sneak up behind spiders and assault them with a fast weapon so they remain stunned for most of the encounter.

If you dislike facing the Spiders, there’s an Arachnophobia mode you can toggle through the game’s accessibility settings. This turns all the scary-looking spiders into crabs instead, which might be something fun you’d want to try.

Snakes are found in the swamp biomes and are quite easy to track and kill. You can find them in map areas where the forests have brown patches. However, they can also easily poison you if you’re not careful to avoid their attacks. Poison deals damage over time, so have some emergency rations. Luckily, Snakes have low HP values, so they can be killed much more easily than spiders.

Each Spider and Snake drops only a single Venom Sac, so you’ll have to grind some kills before you have enough. Venom Sacs are used for the Thornium Armor set and for crafting and upgrading the Alchemist’s Bench, which enables you to craft potions.
