How To “Find The Branch Together With Aranakula” in Genshin Impact

It's hidden away.

During the Sumeru Memory of Stone World Quest in the Varuna Gatha questline, you may find yourself stumped (no pun intended) when it comes to the “Find the “branch” together With Aranakula” objective. Here’s where you need to go to find the branch, including the exact map location, in Genshin Impact.

Genshin Impact: How To “Find The Branch Together With Aranakula”

During the Memory of Stone World Quest in Sumeru, Aranakula will task you with finding the “branch” to help activate the Varuna Contraption. If you’re here, I’m assuming that, like me, you had some trouble finding where to go. Looked above? Looked on the ground? Climbed the trees (because that seemed fitting) and still can’t find it? I feel you.

The branch is actually hidden in a small cave below the surface, because of course it is. To find it, head to the southwest side of the circle indicating the quest area and look for a Four-Leaf Sigil. Look next to it and you’ll spot a small opening to a cave. There’s also a stone block wrapped in tree roots above the entrance if that helps.

Go inside the cave and there’s your branch at the bottom – except it’s not over. You will now need to find and turn three “leaves” so that they point towards the branch to activate it. Luckily, they’re easy to find as a Seelie will now be at the cave entrance and will guide you to each one. How convenient!

The order of how many times to rotate the leaves is as follows:

  1. Rotate once
  2. Rotate twice
  3. Rotate once

You’ll know you’ve done it correctly when a prompt appears telling you to return back to the branch. Speak to Aranakula once more, who will take you back to the rest stop, ending the Memory of Stone World Quest.
